CENTRES FOR THE ACHIEVEMENT OF ENVIRONMENTAL EDUCATION ACTIVITIES ENVIRONMENTAL EDUCATION CENTRE "EL MOLINO DE ARRIBA" OF PUEBLA DE LA SIERRA The Environmental Education Centre “El Molino de Arriba” was a project conceived in 1990, which at the moment develops all type of environmental activities, from handmade activities and excursions to campings. The property is located in a forest of pyrenaican oaks. * Facilities: it has a camping area, wood cabins, solar panels for the supplying of electrical energy, cooking - warehouse, dining room, toilets, showers, sinks, etc.

* Activities:
- Guided and commented itineraries: it is possible to make excursions both valley of La Puebla and its surroundings. The visitors, accompanied by a guide, will have the opportunity to discover the grove, the river, the slopes and the forests.
- Campings and summer camps: they go from a weekend to 14 days.

- Handmade activities:
* Preparation of nests and feeders for insectivorous birds and bats, activity fundamentally directed to children and young people, with the help of a monitor.
* Identification of flowers, trees and shrubs, by means of the use of field guides and the explanations of the monitor.
* Identification of birds by means of binoculars.
* Vegetable garden and breeding ground of native species.
* Initiation to the Apiculture, in which the basic knowledge like the tools used by the apicultor, the different types of beehives and obtained products are learnt.
* Alternative energies, taking advantage of the aeolian and photovoltaic installation that has the centre.



- Courses for adults:
* Initiation to the knowledge of the birds.
* Identification of medicinal and aromatic plants.
* Initiation to the mycology.
* Environmental education.
* Courses for free time monitors, with specialization in environmental education.
