CENTRES FOR THE ACHIEVEMENT OF ENVIRONMENTAL EDUCATION ACTIVITIES ENVIRONMENTAL PROMOTION AND EDUCATION CENTRE OF EL HAYEDO DE MONTEJO The Hayedo de Montejo constitutes at the present time the space with the greatest protection regime. At its entrance, the Environmental Promotion and Education Centre is located and it is acceded trough the local road M-139 de Montejo to El Cardoso de la Sierra. All the activities made in this centre are managed through the Mountain Resources Centre located in the village of Montejo (telephone: 91 869 70 58 / 91 869 72 17)

• Guided footpaths.
• Autoguided footpaths.
• Activities for the local population.

* Adresee groups:
Primary and Secondary Education and University students, public in general, teachers, physical and phsychical handicapped people.

* Facilities:
old fishermen house reformed for educative activities and stay of the monitors of the Hayedo.

* Documentation facilitated in the Center:
 informative, field notebook, evaluation card and support to the teaching staff.

* Educative resources:
 Informative panels, publications, didactic games, guided and autoguided visits.
