CENTRES FOR THE ACHIEVEMENT OF ENVIRONMENTAL EDUCATION ACTIVITIES

INFORMATION AND RESOURCES CENTRE OF SIERRA DEL RINCÓN BIOSPHERE RESERVE (MONTEJO DE LA SIERRA)

Through it, Sierra del Rincón tourist information is canalized and one of the more emblematic natural spaces of the Community of Madrid is managed: Hayedo de Montejo, “Natural Site of National Interest” since 1974.

The Resources Centre opens all days of the year, except 1 and 6 of January and 25 of December. It works as an informative centre about the offer of accomodation and restaurants of Sierra del Rincón, as well as providing information of the five municipalities in all referring of the footpaths, hotel industry and catering trade services, transport, entrances to the Hayedo, municipalities’ singularity, etc.
