GUIDED FOOT`PATHS

a) Hayedo de Montejo:

- Working Days: the visits are restricted to one during the morning and another one during the evening. The morning visit is oriented to schools, institutes and university groups and usually lasts all the morning, in where the route guided is made, helping itself of field notebooks adapted to the knowledge of each group. During the evening, a guided visit directed to private individuals is made, with a group of maximum 20 people; it tries to be informative, transmitting a comprehensible knowledge level for all the people.
IMPORTANT: From 2008, all the Mondays non festive, the Environmental Education Centre of El Hayedo de Montejo is closed, so those days there are no footpaths around El Hayedo de Montejo.
But the Information and Resources Centre of SRBR is not closed those days.

- Weekends and festives: it is necessary to reserve previously the day by telephone calling to the Information and Resources Centre. The visits are made throughout all the day and last approximately 1 h.
For those visitors who have not made the reserve, the Information and Resources Centre provides information about autoguided alternative footpaths by means of leaflets with a detailed explanation of the route, duration and difficulty.

b) Guided footpaths around municipalities

The Technic Centre of Sierra del Rincón Biosphere Reserve offers other environmental tourism activities, such as:
- Specialized thematic footpaths
- Environmental, cultural, traditional activities, using the resources of the zone like forges, mills ...
