LEGISLATION

- Law of Fluvial Fishing, of 20 of February of 1942.
- Law 4/1989, of Conservation of the Natural Spaces and the Wild Flora and Fauna.
- Real Decree 1095/1989, of 8 of September, by that the species object of hunting and fishing and norms for their protection are declared.
- Real Decree 1118/1989, of 15 of September, by that the marketable species of hunting and fishing are determined.
- Real Decree 439/1990, of 30 of March, by that the National Catalogue of Threatened Species is regulated.
- Law 2/1991, of 14 of February, of Protection and Regulation of the wild fauna and flora in the Community of Madrid.
- Annual Order of the Environment Advisor by that the limitations and allowed periods of fishing that will prevail during each campaign are fixed.

The Law of Fluvial Fishing, of 20 of February of 1942, that regulates the fishing activity, has as objective “the conservation, the promotion and the use of fish and other useful beings that with permanent or transitory manner live in continental waters”. Both Law 4/1989 and Law 2/1991 and other norms that develop them, establish the measures of protection of the fishing species.
