NATIONAL RESERVE OF SONSAZ
MANAGEMENT

Cinegetic management in the Hunting Reserve of Sonsaz, in which the cinegetic territory of Sierra del Rincón is included, is made by the Environment Council and consists, fundamentally, in the integral management of the territory with the fundamental objective to promote the cinegetic species as an element bases of the ecosystem that has to promote, under a more conservationist criterion than cinegetic one. It is tried to restore the almost extinct populations and to promote the existing ones in such way that the trophic chain is restored in these spaces. In this way, cinegetic species as the rabbit will serve as prey species for other protected species.

In these zones, hunting is amanagement instrument to regulate the populations. For it, a management system consistent in the following steps settles down:
