GUIDED FOOTPATH: THE MAILMAN'S ROUTE
FOOTPATH OF FUENTE DEL COLLADO: MONTEJO DE LA SIERRA - LA HIRUELA (14,8 Km - 5h. 20 min.)

We take in Montejo the road to La Hiruela. We advance 700 ms until arriving at a door located on the left part of the road. We pass it and we take the path of Manoteras, parallel to the river. We pass between two stone walls and we arrive at a bifurcation of paths; we take the one from the left until arriving at a crossing in which we turn to the left.
We cross a fence and a door to arrive to the road and walk about 600 ms until arriving at Fuente del Collado.
We see an esplanade and a path to the other side of the road, in front of the source. We take this path that takes us to the port of La Hiruela. At the end of this path, we cross the road and we take a footpath by which we arrive until the Collado Salinero. We advance until arriving at Cerro del Morro, where there is a meadow, which we cross. From here, we will walk to arrive at the village of La Hiruela.
