LOCAL AGENDA 21 OF SIERRA DEL RINCÓN MANCOMMUNITY

In 2003, Sierra del Rincón Mancommunity adopted Local Agenda 21 as a territorial planning instrument to make its development compatible with the respect to the environment and life quality of all its inhabitants, implying the local community during all the process by means of mechanisms of citizen participation. So, an environmental and socioeconomic diagnosis of the territory was elaborated, that would mark strategies and actions to carry out for covering the necessities detected in the municipality.

These strategies, collected in an Action Plan, whose design finalized a year later, will be fulfilled throughout feasible actions always looking for the viability, operativity and sustainable effects at long term.
