CIVIL ARCHITECTURE

The traditional architecture of the mountain range houses is, at the present time, perfectly represented in each one of the municipalities, offering the possibility of knowing the cultural and rural environment.
One of the identity signs of Sierra del Rincón villages is its housing, a reflection of its inhabitants’ way of life. Many keys of its history and culture can be recognized in it. Solid and sober, traditional houses united physically the spaces destined to cattle agricultural uses (barn, stable and farmyard) to those of residential use. In many cases, another house for emigrated children’s holidays use has been fitted out in the old stable.
